Both arrows point
to 2 dense thin echogenic structures, slightly mobile, which
originate from medial and lateral portions of the atrial side of
the prosthetic valve ring (mechanical bileaflet). Both structures
are similar and represent prominent suture points of the valve
ring. The exam was performed as a pre-cardioversion search for
atrial thrombi.
Le
due frecce indicano 2 strutture ecodense, poco mobili, filiformi,
originanti dalle porzioni mediale e laterale dell'annulus protesico
mitralico (protesi valvolare meccanica bi-leaflet), aggettanti in cavita'
atriale sinistra. Le due strutture sono simili e rappresentano punti di
sutura "prominenti" dell'annulus della protesi mitralica. L'esame
e' stato eseguito per la ricerca di trombi atriali in valutazione
pre-cardioversione di una fibrillazione atriale acuta. . |
