Abbrev. AO: Aortic root (homograft); LV: Left Ventricle; RV: Right Ventricle; *: Contiguous abscess cavities. 
*: Cavita' ascessuali contigue
Comments The larger abscess cavity receives flow from the homograft and communicates with the minor cavity, which in its turn communicates with the right ventricle (lower right panel with color Doppler), resulting in a left to right shunt with continuous flow between the aortic homograft and the right ventricle. 
La cavita' ascessuale maggiore riceve flusso dall'homograft ed e' in comunicazione con la minore, a sua volta comunicante con il ventricolo destro (vedi riquadro con immagine color Doppler), risultando uno shunt sinistro-> destro con flusso continuo tra l'homograt aortico ed il ventricolo destro.
